Red Door, the beginning of something hot!

Criteria for Consideration

The Camley Publishing Beta Cohort is an intentionally designed space for Independent Authors who are ready to contribute to and grow within an innovative author–reader ecosystem. Selection into this cohort reflects both readiness and a willingness to actively engage in the development of a new publishing experience.

To be considered for participation, authors must meet the following criteria:

Required Qualifications

1. Published Work
Authors must have at least one completed and published book available for review. This ensures that all Beta participants are actively engaged in the publishing process and prepared to contribute meaningful insight.

2. Professional Headshot
Authors must provide a professional-quality headshot suitable for use across the Camley platform. This supports brand development and enhances reader connection.

3. Active Participation in Weekly Feedback
Authors must commit to completing the weekly Camley Feedback Survey. As a Beta participant, your insights will directly shape the development, refinement, and success of the platform.

4. Established Reader Engagement
Authors must have a minimum of 20 reviews on at least one published work. This demonstrates an existing connection with readers and provides a foundation for deeper engagement within the Camley network.

Preferred (Optional) Contribution

Blog Participation
While not required, authors who are interested in contributing to the Camley CoNEXTion Blog are strongly encouraged to express that interest. This platform provides an opportunity to expand your voice, share your expertise, and connect with a broader audience of readers and writers.

A Note on Selection

Selection into the Beta Cohort is not solely based on meeting the minimum criteria. Camley Publishing is curating a dynamic and collaborative group of authors whose voices, professionalism, and commitment align with the mission of redefining the independent publishing experience.
